Day 1 Sun. Los Angeles
Board an evening international flight for Australia. (D)

Day 2 Mon. In Flight
Cross the international dateline and 'lose' a day.

Day 3 Tue. Arrive Sydney, Australia
Welcomed on arrival at Sydney for your hotel transfer.
Three Night Stay: Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. From your room, you will enjoy guaranteed views of Sydney Harbour and its magnificent Opera House. (BD)

Day 4 Wed. Harbor Cruise, Opera House
Enjoy a tour of Sydney and a luncheon cruise on the harbor. Tonight, we tour Sydney Opera House. (BL)

Day 5 Thur. At Leisure in Sydney
Relax and enjoy Sydney at your own pace today. Perhaps take an optional sightseeing tour to Canberra or the Blue Mountains (own expense). (B)

Day 6 Fri. Tropical Cairns
Our morning flight takes us to Cairns. Tour the city on arrival - the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
Three Night Stay: Cairns, superb Radisson Plaza Hotel on the waterfront at the Pier. (BD)

Day 7 Sat. Barrier Reef Full Day Cruise
Cruise the Great Barrier Reef aboard a catamaran. Swim, snorkel and ride in a glass-bottom boat. (BL)

Day 8 Sun. Skyrail, Kuranda Train
Ride the Skyrail Cableway, see the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers then take a scenic train ride. (B)

Day 9 Mon. Cairns, Darwin
Fly to Darwin in the Northern Territory's Top End.

Day 10 Tue. Kakadu National Park
See wild crocodiles on the Jumping Crocodile Cruise.
Accommodation: Kakadu National Park, Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn. (BD)

Day 11 Wed. Darwin, Alice Springs
Visit Bowali Visitor Centre for a greater appreciation of this World Heritage area before returning to Darwin for our flight to Alice Springs.

Two Night Stay: Alice Springs Resort. (B)

Day 12 Thur. Alice Springs Town Tour
Tour Alice Springs, including visits to the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Telegraph Station. Tonight enjoy our special Camp Oven Outback dinner. (BD)

Day 13 Fri. Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Gorge Walk
Explore the domes of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) on a walk into Olga Gorge. On to Ayers Rock Resort. Dine at one of the resort's restaurants or join the 'Sounds of Silence' desert dinner (additional cost).
Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort's premier hotel, Sails in the Desert. Your home in the Outback. (BD)

Day 14 Sat. Uluru (Ayers Rock), Melbourne
Take an optional morning climb to the top of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Afternoon flight to Melbourne.
Two Night Stay: Melbourne, Sheraton Towers. (B)

Day 15 Sun. Melbourne, Tramcar Lunch
Take a sightseeing tour of Melbourne, then travel the city streets while enjoying a delicious lunch aboard the 1927 Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. (BL)

Day 16 Mon. Tasmania, Port Arthur
Arrive in Tasmania and tour the famous convict ruins at Port Arthur Historic Site.
Two Night Stay: Hobart, Wrest Point Casino Hotel. (B)

Day 17 Tue. Richmond, Hobart
Visit charming Richmond village then return to Hobart for a city tour, including Salamanca Place. (BD)

Day 18 Wed. Los Angeles
Join a morning flight bound for the United States. Arrive Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon. (B and BL)
